If you’re a creative, confident and highly organised Social Media & Content Creator we’d like to hear from you. You’ll help us (and our brilliant clients) shine online by planning, creating and managing engaging content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Meta, and LinkedIn.
The Role
Social Media & Content Creator
Position: Permanent, full-time with flexible working hours
Salary: £25k+ (salary depending on experience).
Location: Carlisle-based
What’s involved?
Content Creation
- Develop and deliver content strategies that showcase the unique personality of CreativeHutch and our diverse clients.
- Create original, on-brand content including posts, stories, reels and short-form video across social platforms.
- Stay ahead of social trends and bring fresh, creative ideas to the table.
- Film and edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts). You don’t need to be a filmmaker, but solid video editing skills for social are a must.
- Visit clients regularly to capture standout content that builds brand awareness and drives engagement.
Social Media Management
- Manage and grow CreativeHutch and client social media accounts across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Schedule and post content, monitor engagement and manage day-to-day community interactions.
- Write engaging copy for captions, posts, and campaigns – from punchy to professional, depending on the audience.
- Plan and implement social media campaigns that align with wider marketing goals.
- Keep clients updated, building strong working relationships through regular communication.
- Monitor social channels, respond to comments, and manage reputation and engagement on behalf of clients.
- Stay up to date with social media trend, platform changes and new features.
- Track performance and report monthly on key social metrics and campaign results.
Campaign Co-ordination
- Plan, manage and optimise paid social campaigns (primarily on Meta TikToK and LinkedIn).
- Support the development of seasonal, product or event-driven campaigns across social.
- Work closely with internal designers, marketers and content teams to align social with broader campaigns and brand strategies.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience managing business or brand social accounts across multiple platforms.
- Strong understanding of social content formats, platform algorithms and emerging trends.
- Confident in video creation and editing using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, or similar.
- Excellent copywriting skills and attention to detail.
- Experience running and reporting on paid social media campaigns.
- Organised, proactive and confident dealing directly with clients.
- Able to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines and adapt quickly.
- Full UK driving licence (due to travel to client sites).
