We were delighted to continue our ongoing partnership with the Employee Ownership Association (EOA), collaborating with the team on their highly anticipated ‘Employee Ownership Day (EO Day)’ for the second consecutive year, centered around 2024’s theme of ‘#ProudlyEO’.
The EOA had recently undergone a rebrand with an employee-owned design agency, and our task was to adapt the new brand across various campaign elements to ensure a cohesive and engaging experience. This included a variety of digital campaign marketing collateral, as well as printouts and member resources.
Creative Design
Team Hutch got to work designing a brand identity for the campaign, including a ‘Proudly EO’ logo. We created a dedicated landing page and resources page for EO members, providing a central hub to direct traffic to throughout all campaign touchpoints. This allowed participants easy access to essential information and tools for EO Day.
We designed a variety of social media assets, website banners, and email banners to capture attention and drive engagement, including countdown assets. This provided the EO team with the tools they needed to kickstart an engaging social media campaign in the run-up to the day and on the day itself.
Animation
To give the campaign some movement, we collaborated with the animation wizards over at Plus3k who produced two eye-catching sting animations in the theme of EO Day and the #ProudlyEO theme. The sting was shared as a resource to EO members to use as an intro to their own video content in promotion of #EODay, enhancing the event’s digital presence.
Resources and Supporting Campaign Materials
A number of designs were made available online for EO Day members to download, including ‘Proudly EO’ and ‘EO Day’ posters and printouts to help participants decorate their workspace in celebration of EO Day. Additionally, we created funky ‘EO Day’ cutout wearable glasses and smiles to get members involved, posing for photos and sharing online.
A detailed infographic was also produced to inspire EO members on how to celebrate and get involved in #EODay. It was filled with useful information including how to share about the day across social media.
Measuring Social Media Success
Following the event, our marketing team supported the EOA by compiling a detailed social media report to help measure the reach and engagement of their EO Day campaign across various platforms, both on the day itself and throughout the week of the event.
The results included an impressive 23,432 organic impressions across X and LinkedIn over the week of the EO Day campaign.
Our collaborative efforts resulted in a vibrant campaign that amplified the #ProudlyEO message, engaging thousands of employee owners and sector champions across the UK.
