Laura came to us as she had set up her curtain design business earlier in the year on Etsy and it had blown up. People had noticed her beautiful, elegant handmade curtains and couldn’t order quickly enough. She needed her brand to grow up, look professional, and creative and show that she meant business.
We worked with Laura to tweak her business name to allow for growth and crafted a logo and brand that reflected Laura’s incredible creativity and talent. We then worked together to develop a logo, full brand identity, messaging and e-commerce website.
The wordmark logo has a subtle swirl at the end which is a nod to the way Laura’s curtains sit when they hang in a room. The icon mark includes all the letters in the name and reflects the varied window style Laura dresses – from the everyday norm and some incredible shaped and huge sized windows. We specifically chose colours in her brand palette that included the colours Laura uses to dye her bespoke curtains. A beautiful calm, elegant palette with some deeper tones for highlighting and warmth.
