Mysa Care (Formally Downing Care) came to us as they were entering their 20th-year anniversary. They wanted to refresh their brand identity, brand messaging and name to reflect their amazing vision and growth for 2023 and beyond.

We initially had a great in-person workshop (they wanted to visit the lakes so used it as a team day out from the sunny South) As a team, we discussed their vision, their values, their brand personality and a lot more, over lots of coffee. This also included an afternoon name facilitation workshop. It was an intense but really productive and inspiring day.

Naming development

From the in-person naming workshop, we researched a variety of name choices that would reflect the services, audience and vision of Mysa Care.  As with all name projects we wanted to ensure the name allowed for growth and didn’t pigeonhole our clients to their current offering. We also wanted the name to be warm, friendly and easy to read/pronounce.

Mysa Care is wrapped around the meaning of everyone being complex and unique, and this underpins the services of every young adult in their care being unique, having their own identity, character, passions and loves.

Brand and branding

We worked with Mysa Care to develop their brand strategy, revisiting their values and vision as a more forward-facing care group. We worked on their messaging and tone of voice to reflect not only their outward-facing vision but also their vision as a great organisation to work for. They value the work their staff do and the impact their staff have on their young adults in their care. Mysa Care have a great culture and has a very low turnover with staff being very much part of the family.  This was an integral part of their vision and values.

The logo and visual identity reflected all of the above, we wanted it to be warm, friendly yet professional and trustworthy – showing the high standards they set themselves across everything they do.  We love this branding and the colour palette is deep, warm and fun – just like the Mysa Care team.

Website design and development

The website at the moment is a simple brochure website, telling the Mysa story, and showing its values and vision for the young adults and their carers looking for more independent living.  the website was built in WordPress with an easy-to-use backend so our clients can update when they need to and add more homes around the UK as they grow and develop their services.  As always we developed an SEO strategy for the website launch and will be keeping on top of this over the coming months.

We will continue to work with Mysa Care on their marketing collateral and internal coms to ensure they stay consistent and can use their time on when they do best – having amazing safe living spaces for young adults who are in need of just a little more independence, secure in the knowledge they have great people looking out for them 24/7.
